I have made the development of these skills a priority because effective communication enables the imparting of knowledge, clear understanding and building of strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

I set high standards for myself as a lifelong learner and for my students as a means of achieving their full potential. To support these expectations, I have a strong commitment to achieving excellence in learning outcomes by providing my students with support that will result in realising their goals. She is delightful to be around, that makes everyone who studies with her try different music styles, with ease and pleasure. She does encourage her students to discover all possible sides of music, to acquire a variety of skills that will unlock individual potential. Her enthusiasm is very catchy. Extensive knowledge in teaching technique allows her to create an individually balanced programs, based on contemporary technology and latest research in education, within the scope of current AMEB, Trinity examinations frameworks.

All that knowledge is based on extensive education in music, that she started music studies at the age of 6 in her hometown in Crimea, Ukraine. That alone helped her to make the decision to become a professional musician. The following 9 years were spent studying at Simferopol Music College, Crimea, Ukraine (Honors) and Donetsk State S.S. Prokofiev Conservatory, Donetsk, Ukraine, in the classes of prominent Ukranian piano performers Assoc. Prof N.U. Chesnokova, Prof. M.Legotsky. Soon after completing education her family immigrated to New Zealand, where she was actively engaged in piano performing, choir singing and teaching. Judith Einstein BA, ATMusA
Teacher of Piano

As a piano teacher with many years experience, I believe in offering a fully rounded musical education of the highest standard, to students of all ages from early beginners to advanced stages. I consider it is important to recognise the interests of every student and develop a program to suit each person individually, whether it is purely classical or includes contemporary music. Each program is based on a thorough grounding in technique, musicianship, aural skills and the ability to interpret individual styles of music.

My own background includes the benefit of having studied privately with Elizabeth Kozma (previous Deputy Director of the Liszt Academy, Budapest), Dulcie Holland and for a short period Nancy Salas, before her death. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from UNSW. I completed the piano pedagogy course at the University of Southern Queensland. I hold an ATMusA, specialising in child development and early years at the piano.

Over the past 20 years I have taught piano at Roseville College Anglican School for Girls, as well as from my own private studio. I present numerous students annually for all levels of AMEB grades in Pianoforte and Piano for Leisure. I have also prepared students for the HSC practical component.

In past years I have attended Conservatorium Access Centre courses, professional workshops and pedagogy conferences in order to keep up to date with current teaching philosophies and trends. I have also developed a special interest in passing on pedagogical techniques to advanced students who may be interested in starting their own private studios or preparing for the ATMusA.
